What is an AI search investment diagnostic?
An AI search investment diagnostic is a fixed-scope report that tells a B2B SaaS team whether AI search — including Google AI Mode — is worth investing in, before budget goes to an agency. It measures how often AI answers recommend you against named competitors, checks what your own traffic and pipeline already show, and returns a 7-page diagnosis plus a decision sheet.
How the diagnosis is built
Every diagnosis follows the same fixed sequence. First, the 3-5 questions your buyers actually ask before they buy are collected and confirmed against what your product can serve. Second, those questions are run against the major AI answer engines in repeated batches, and each brand’s mention and recommendation rate is counted, yours and your named competitors’. Third, the result is cross-checked against your own data: what Google Search Console shows for your pages, what GA4 records for visits and behaviour, and where Semrush shows competitor visibility and source gaps. Fourth, what is measured is separated from what is estimated, and the missing pieces are stated explicitly. The output is a 7-page report: the conclusion, the demand, the current state, the competitive picture, the priority, the market cost, and the pre-registered thresholds the work will be judged against.
How to use this tool
You provide three things
Your website, 2-3 direct competitors, and 3-5 questions your buyers actually ask.
You receive a diagnosis
A 7-page diagnostic report, plus a decision sheet you can take into a meeting.
Every judgment is based on measured data from GSC, GA4 and Semrush — no guessing, no inventing, no promises.
What the report covers
- Worth investing? — the conclusion, in one page.
- Which buying questions are worth winning — demand you can actually serve.
- What current spend has produced, and where growth is stuck — current state.
- Who buyers see on those questions — competition and AI visibility.
- What to fix first, and what sits outside marketing — priority.
- What this work costs — market cost in three tiers, with the pricing basis.
- Decision and validation — the decision sheet and pre-registered thresholds.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
$9.9 per report. That covers the 7-page diagnosis and the decision sheet.
What do you need from me?
Your website, 2-3 direct competitors, and 3-5 questions your buyers ask before they buy. If you have Google Search Console, GA4 or CRM access, grant read-only access and the diagnosis gets sharper.
What data is it based on?
AI answer sampling across major engines, plus your own Google Search Console, GA4 and Semrush data. Every judgment is tied to a measured number, and the report states how many evidence items are measured versus estimated.
Will it tell me to spend money?
No. It gives you facts, judgment and market cost. It can just as easily conclude that you should not invest yet. The decision on whether to spend, how much, and where the money comes from stays with you.
Can I see what I get before paying?
Yes. Click “See a sample output” above — that is page 1 of the seven. The full 7-page sample is sent once you get in touch.

This page: judgment (the conclusion), supported by the data on pages 2-4
Three numbers decide it. Across 18 questions, AI answers recommended us 8% of the time, against 40% for a direct competitor, Pipedrive. Our articles bring traffic but few applications, and 30% of applications have no traceable source. Conclusion: worth doing — but fund only the smallest verifiable tier, and decide on expansion after 90 days against pre-registered thresholds.
