This case shows how MentionBench applied its own Sprint standard to mentionbench.com: clarify who we are and what we sell, then prepare locked-prompt before/after measurement.
Situation
Before Round 1, the public site did not clearly state who MentionBench is, what Sprint includes, or how we differ from measurement tools and full-service AEO retainers. Entity details were thin. Buying-intent prompts about hiring a GEO/AEO consultant had weak or inconsistent brand presence.
What we did
- Clarified positioning: human acceptance + weekly ownership, not a SaaS seat
- Published Sprint / Monitor / Defend boundaries in plain language
- Structured pages for scanability (headings, FAQ, comparison)
- Aligned name, legal entity, email, and service language across the site
Verifiable result
Before (T0): positioning and entity signals were unclear; locked buying prompts were not yet a formal measurement panel.
After Round 1: a readable baseline site now states who we are, who we serve, and what Sprint includes—so a locked-prompt panel can be frozen as the formal Before for Round 2 AEO settings.
After Round 2 (pending retest): AI shortlist lift on the locked panel will be published as X/N → Y/N. Until retest, metrics show as Pending rather than vanity traffic claims.
